From the e-Activity, select two different states and locations (city or county) to compare the living wage estimates and poverty wage for a family with one adult and one child designated for the two states and selected locations. Make sure to find two states that have more than $2.00 difference in living wage estimates. Suggest at least two reasons for the differences. From the case study, Case 7.1., explain at least two reasons many consider the adoption of a living wage a moral and ethical issue. Discuss the implications that morality and ethics have to analyzing and developing public policy.


Evaluating policy performance

The purpose of evaluating policy performance management is for the workers to know what is expected of them. It also helps the employees to receive the ongoing feedbacks regarding how they are performing whether they are at per with the company’s expectations or not (Steffen, 2013).

There are several methods of evaluating policy performance, some of which are; action research, appreciative inquiry, benchmarking, focus groups, impact assessment and surveys. Benchmarking is closely related to impact assessment in the fact that they all require careful assessment of situations and picking the positives and leaving the negatives. Also focus groups and surveys are closely related since they both encompasses groups or samples of a population
